Most small business owners know their rent to the penny but couldn't say what they pay a year for energy, card fees or phones. Those bills arrive monthly, in different formats, from different companies, and they creep up. BizBillCheck puts them in one place so you can see which is worth tackling.

The person behind it

I'm Oliver Burton. I run HTML Studio, a web development business near Ibstock in Leicestershire, and I've spent years building pricing and reporting systems. I also run EnergySwitch.co.uk, which helps households compare energy. BizBillCheck applies the same approach to businesses: show the working, cite the source, and let you decide.

Our principles

• Every tax rate and rule links to the official page we took it from, with the date we checked it.
• Calculations use your own figures. We don't invent "average bills".
• We explain how brokers and partners are paid, including when they pay us.
• We don't promote business loans, cash advances or other finance.
