How to use this page

Work through the three calculators: business energy, card fees and broadband and phone. Each one saves its headline figure in your browser. Come back here and you'll see the yearly cost of each, the total, and, where we can estimate one, the possible saving.

Bills are ordered by the saving we can estimate, so the one at the top is usually the best use of an hour of your time. Where no saving can be estimated, bills are ordered by size, since a 10% cut on your biggest bill is usually worth more than a 30% cut on your smallest.

Your figures never leave your device.

Worked example

A café with an energy bill of £7,500 a year, card fees of £1,400 a year (with a possible £250 saving by switching provider) and phone and broadband of £1,300 a year (possible £400 saving with VoIP) would see broadband and phone first, then card fees, then energy, for a total of £10,200 a year. If a sourced energy reference rate showed a £900 saving, energy would move to the top.

Frequently asked questions

Where do these figures come from?
From the other calculators on this site, saved in your own browser when you used them. Nothing is sent to us. Clear your browser's site data to remove them.
Why is there no saving shown for some bills?
A saving needs something to compare with: a sourced reference rate for energy, your current provider for card fees, or verified VoIP prices for phone. Where we don't have that, we show the cost only.
What about rent, rates and insurance?
They're outside what this site covers. For business rates, GOV.UK explains small business rate relief.
